Week 2004 Recap
The Mercedes Australian Fashion Week 2004/2005 Spring Summer Collections was held
May 2-8, 2004 within the Circular Quay precinct in Sydney, Australia.
The fashion shows feature designers from Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific.
Some of the designers featured at MAFW included Alex Perry (eveningwear and exotic),
Cohen et Sabine (ready-to-wear and evening), Emily Cheong (Hong Kong collection),
Sunjoo Moon (ready-to-wear), Willow (resort), Tim O'Connor and Timothy (spring
dresses), Nicola Finetti (casual resort), and Jayson Brunsdon (ready-to-wear.)
Sunjoo Moon showed expressive daywear and party designs in lipstick colors along
with trenchcoat groupings. Willow showed exotic resort bikinis and ribbon mini
dresses adorned with gold and silver borders and face jewelry. Jayson Brunsdon
showed soft neutral separates and satin dresses with wide belts.
